Fire ARtIf you love drumming, singing, dancing, and conscious collaboration, if you love festival culture but want to go deeper– your heart will find a home at Illumination - a modern renewal of the original human technology for self-empowerment: The Sacred Fire Circle.

For three nights in a row, at a beautiful forested Oregon camping venue, we light a fire at midnight and co-create an extraordinary vision-quest journey of flowing music, ecstatic dance, spoken word, ritual and empowerment all through the night, until the fire sees its shadow at sunrise. These fires of transformation trigger profound insight, ecstatic wonderment, and meaningful connection with like-minded peers from across our interwoven communities.

Illumination – an exhilarating journey around the Sacred Fire in which we manifest our prayers and dreams through artful play...for those who want to go deeper

Please note that these directions were written by the Beloved team.  The information about the offsite Box Office does not apply to Illumination.  But note that the entrance to the site is a VERY SHARP right turn and it will probably be best to go past it, turn around, and approach it from the west.

If you are coming from the south, we highly recommend stopping to refuel and for a snack at our favorite solar powered Biofuels station, SeQuential Biofuels, located just off of I-5 in Eugene at 86714 McVay Highway. It is the first all-biofuel and biofuel-blend fueling station in the nation. They offer biofuel and biofuel blends for every vehicle with no conversion required.

We highly encourage everyone to carpool.

FEATURED FACILITATORS

Eco Ethos

ecoethicslgOne of our primary aims for Illumination is to champion new ways to honor and respect our planet in crisis while we celebrate our ever-present connection with her. That said, we must be honest that it is challenging to make 200 person camping retreats 100% "green." We do not take lightly that we are asking many people to make a carbon footprint by traveling to and participating in this event.  Our goal is that Illumination not only reduce it's negative ecological impact, but aim for the event to have a net positive effect on the battered Oregon Coastal Range ecosystem and on our planet's ability to survive the many and constant threats to her life. We are making special efforts to minimize our impact and to use these efforts as an educational platform for all participants.
